I want all of us to take a moment and thank those who are serving or who have served our country. It is so easy to get caught up in the firecrackers and cookouts and forget why we are able to celebrate Independence Day in the first place!
We are all SOOOO blessed to have the opportunity to live in a free country and if it weren't for the men and women who serve to protect the USA, today may not be such a special day, it just may be another Monday. So, please take the time to stop and thank someone who has served or a family member of those who are serving our country. I have seen first hand the hardships these families go through when a family member is deployed, called to duty, so that we can live in a free country. I am so thankful to all of those who are serving and our veterans, and I am so thankful for the sacrifices their families have made or are making to protect this country!

This weekend was one HUGE 4th of July celebration! The littles LOVED the fireworks! I was sure at least one of them would freak out, but they were all amazingly good even though it was 2 hours past all of their bedtimes!
We spent the weekend celebrating with friends, having the times of our lives...
