Remember this post from a while back about the transformation of this awesome piece of thrift store furniture? Well, the air vent was not so cute behind it:
I had a few left over shutters and so I decided to paint them… RED (I think this is my new obsession…)
Then I leaned them against the wall, in front of the air vent, added a vase with some red flowers, a few chunky frames that I had sitting around the house and…
I am in LOVE! Doesn’t the red look awesome with the blue and green?! It just pops! Red and blues are definitely my new favorite color combination!
Oh I love these colors together! Right now I'm loving pale green and brown together and I'm on the search for the perfect torquoise
ReplyDeleteI'm loving these colors together too. In fact my kitchen is light teal and red. The shutters look great - smart way to cover the vent!
ReplyDeleteYou nailed it..that's the perfect solution! I am loving pale blue and red right now. My new comforter has three shades of blue and lime green and that's really catching my eye, too.
