Kyle called from Target and asked if I could paint drum sticks for a 5 year old little boy's birthday gift. I thought "Drumsticks? Really?!" Then she came busting in the mud room with four wooden drumsticks and we got to work:
I used acrylic paint and painted two of the sticks blue and two of them green. Then I let them dry really well and added another coat.
Then came the fun part. I decided to do stripes...
And polka dots...
Then I let them dry like this:
And after all four of them were completely dry these puppies went into a gift bag for one rockin' little boy!
Didn't they turn out so cute?!
What an awesome, affordable gift for any little rocker!
