HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!
I want to take a moment to thank all of the men and women who are serving or have served our Country! We are so grateful for the sacrifices you and your families have made or are currently making!
THANK YOU!
Ok, now back to the scheduled programming...
On my kitchen counter lives this cutie:
My mom gave me this horrendous, old, rusted tea kettle that she found:
It is really heavy and was screaming with potential...
So after a little work (inside and out) this is what we have:
Thank you Silhouette for cutting out these fab letters!
I even spray painted the handle to give it a little sprucing up.
And because I know a ton of you will ask, I used Krylon Jade (one of my all time faves)!
What have you revamped lately?!

Fabulous! I'm sooo obsessed with spray paint! ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, your tea kettle is so cute. Love the color and how you've given it a new life. I would love to have one of those silhouette machines.

This is so cute and I love the color. But one question, it is just for looks right? There is no hot tea coming out of that, or is there?

Thanks everyone! And yes, this is ONLY for looks... It was all rusty when my mom got it and I will NOT be drinking anything out of it! Although I did spray the inside too!
ReplyDeletesuper cute ~ i love anything labeled! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the new look!! So fun and fresh now. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is just too cute! I used to have one of these and would fill it with water and put it on my fireplace stove so the water would help hydrate the air in the winter.
ReplyDeleteWow -- that was a not-so-nice looking kettle and you have transformed it! LOVE the color too!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! Krylon just tweeted the link to this post, so glad I saw this!
ReplyDeleteLove this so much! I am definitely going to have to borrow (also known as steal) my parents old tea kettle the next time I am home! I pinned this :)
ReplyDeleteGood job - nice stuff :)
ReplyDeleteOk now that IS cute!
ReplyDeleteLove, love it. I actually have an old tea kettle just like this. Hopefully I can remember where I put it. Since I'm an avid tea drinker, this would be a perfect addition for my kitchen. Thanks for sharing this! Found you through Lovely Crafty Home. Visiting from Laurie's Little Bits of Creativity, etc.

Hey Natalie, can I just tell you how much I love your tea kettle now. It is so pretty, and not that you need to label it, duh, BUT it really does make it a million times cuter, hehe.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing this with us, at my blog.
I loved this so much, I featured you girl!
Come grab a button girl, and display it proudly!
