On the Side Of The Road...

Here is the latest piece of revamped furniture in our house:

I saw this laying on the side of the road a few weeks ago:

I HAD to stop and grab it... thankfully my sister was with me because this puppy is heavy...and made out of real wood... and there is NOTHING wrong with it... and I am so happy that all of my neighbors love the throw all of their awesome stuff out on the side of the road...

I  My Crafts have now taken over another corner in our Playroom! (Before we know it my poor children will have no where to play!) This shelf makes me super happy! It is filled with eye candy like all of my fabric scraps and a jar filled with my decorative knobs:

Stacks of my favorite fabrics!
(And now Little Miss Priss can't unfold them everyday!)

And a little crate (found on the side of the road a different day) that holds my unfinished projects!

Check out these knobs?! Instead of a handle, I decided two awesome red knobs were a must! Love them!

Yep, Another corner of our playroom that is MINE...

ALL MINE!

I am linking this post to these awesome places and here.

  8. You're lucky! The only time I ever see furniture get thrown out is after it has rained hard or if it's something with upholstery & it appears something is living in it. But you did a beautiful job on it! Great job!

  9. That is so beautiful! We used to live in Rochester, NY, where people were always throwing out perfectly good things! Loved that! Too bad we are military - I cannot collect too many big items. Love your organization/storage/decor ideas.
