Today when Cliff and Harper go down for their naps, I will not craft. I will not sew. I will not paint or do the laundry. I will not clean the house or reorganize my closets.
What I am going to do is lock myself in my bathroom, crank up my IPod and take a super long shower. And I am not going to get out until the water runs cold, really cold. Then I will give myself a pedicure. And paint my toes purple. Just because I feel like it. I will get lost in the music that fills my bathroom. I will not worry about should haves and what needs to be done. I will be happy and take a little time for me. And when Cliff and Harper wake up from their naps, I will be refreshed, re-energized and a better mother to them.
Take a little time for you. You will be so glad you did!
