Craving Color

Lately I have been spray painting pretty much EVERYTHING in our house! I think it's the fact that SPRING is here (wahoooo!) and I am so inspired by all of the beauty around us. Flowers of all colors are blooming and I love it! So I decided to bring some color into our house to lighten things up around here!

My first Re-Do were these old containers I found at the Thrift Store for a few cents. They were brown and uuuugly, so I attacked their ugliness with some spray paint and... I won!

They used to look like this:

Ok, Ok, not the WORST thing  in the world, but just not enough color for me.

Now this is more like it:

A little help from my Silhouette and viola!

I think I am in love!

  7. I adore this!!! I've been debating getting the glass canister everybody is using for kitchen storage, but this is SO much more my style! Definitely bookmarking and will now be following you b/c I just love a girl who uses color!! And, by the way, my grammy had those exact kitchen canisters on her counters for years! Thanks for the flashback!

  10. Those look really cute! I love redoing tin cans. Mostly because you can find them anywhere for less than a quarter and I'm all about cheap! lol.

I'm with you on the spray painting - I've been spraying everything too. I've spent the last three days spray painting all the hinges and cabinet pulls in my kitchen.
