I'm Baaaaaack! Yippie! Anywho...
Post-Op week five was very exciting for us!
Cliff worked very hard during PT and his exercises at home with Ross and I! He can now do a "bridge" all by himself and repeat it 30 times in a row (I don't think I could even do that! ha!)! We are so proud of him! Cliff also did very well with tall kneeling at his train table and worked hard at crawling on hands and knees. He also taught himself how to get off of his therapy bench all by himself (not too sure if this is good or bad...). We are still in awe of his progress and are so thankful that God has placed His mighty hands on our little boy!
Here he is doing a leg lift WITH his braces on -added weight ;)
And this was his BIGGEST accomplishment last week:
Cliff can step up with ONE foot at a time!!! He could not do this at ALL before the surgery! This is HUGE for Cliff!
Step up with his right foot:
THEN complete step-up with his left foot! (Look at his face, priceless!)
So Proud!
Then Step down with one foot at a time! Yahooo!
And if that wasn't enough, Cliff decided to walk across the room with a smile on his face!
Big Steps!
Then he walked all the way back too! Go Cliff Go!
We are so proud of Cliff! I am amazed by his perseverance and strength!
