Now back to the Tea Towel Tutorial:
I decided it was time to make a Christmas Ornament Tea Towel!
Super Cutie!
Here's how I did it:
I had a pack of tea towels (from Walmart! They come in a pack of 5, I think..)
Then I took "Heat n Bond Ultrahold"...
And applied it to the fabric I wanted. (Follow the directions that come in the pack.)
Then, I traced a coffee mug! So just look around your house for something round that is the same size that you want your ornament to be!
I cut out the circle and ironed it onto my tea towel. Then I hand painted a whimsy hook. But it just didn't look finished so I decided to add a ruffle at the bottom!
But it still needed "something"... so I decided to hand paint a "P" on the ornament and that was the perfect little detail to make it look finished:
Now it hangs "cutely" on my dishwasher!
What fabric combinations will you use on your Christmas Tea Towel?!
