This black dress has been sitting in my closet for over a year now:
See how horrible the length looks on me? (Sorry about the bad pictures and the dirty mirror...)
And Yes, I did hide behind the camera... I had NO makeup on and looked like a monster!
So I took my rotary cutter and simply cut the bottom of the dress until it was a length I liked! (This was jersey knit so I did not sew the raw edges under because it will not fray.)
And then:
A much more flattering length!
