So Harper is finally eating baby food! After making her baby food (just like I did for Cliff) and her not eating it for about 4 weeks, I finally figured I'd give in and try regular baby food... She LOVED it! So now I have 5 million baby food jars that I just cannot throw away! So here are some ways to reuse them:
The first thing to do is spray paint the lids! (They are u.g.l.y.) (This is my new favorite color... I am seriously spray painting anything I can this color!)
See. Much Better!
I use these jars for my small craft supplies. Rubber bands, hair clips, safety pins. I had a scrap of pink ribbon that happened to be the right size for a cute little bow on the little jar!
Be creative with it!
Don't worry if you threw out the lids! I had a scrap piece of fabric left over from a new project I'm working on, so I wrapped it around the jar and tied a simple knot! (I can totally see
Q-tips in here!... hmmm...)
And Buttons! Everyone has buttons! Throw them in a plain jar and once it is filled up all of the different colors look so neat!
Have fun, get creative, reuse everyday items, look at things in a different light!
This can also be done with spaghetti jars, pickle jars, etc!
Leave a comment below with new ideas and ways you are going to use your old jars!
