Ross and I were at a party for a friend's birthday a while ago. By their back door was this lamp:
... I just HAD to have it! So yes, when we left the party, I walked out with their lamp!
(of course I asked first!)
I painted the brass base of the lamp a silver color.
And I bought a new lamp shade... and BAM! A new awesome lamp that cost me less than $10!!!
Be on the lookout no matter where you are for someone else's "trash!" It can very well be your little treasure! Gotta love it!
