Each little baby breath you take is such a miracle, it takes my breath away.

I touched your back and prayed that God will always help me remember these moments. The little moments, the everyday things you do: each smile, giggle and even your cry.

And every morning when I go into your room to wake you up, you are pulling your crib bumper down as you peek at me through the rails on your crib with a smile on your face that is so big, it could cure all of the sadness in this world .
I love the way you rub your tiny ears when you are sleepy.
I love the way you army crawl all over the house just like your brother does and the way you are so enamored with him.
I pray that you and Cliff will be best friends forever.
I love that you want me to hold you every second of the day because I know that before too long, you will be too interested in exploring this big world and I will become boring to you.
I love the way your little feet turn in and you "hold" onto me with them just like a little monkey.
The way you yell "waaaaa!" at me between each bite of baby food makes me laugh, you definitely are impatient, just like me.
I love when you nurse how you look up at me, stop nursing, grin, then continue nursing as if to say "thank you mommy." The connection we have is amazing.
I love the way your beautiful blue eyes smile when you are happy, your laughter is contagious.
And the way you explore and study even the most basic things in our home. I hope this curiosoty never goes away.

Every time you squeal with delight, my heart melts.

I love your "baby" smell, I wish I could capture it in a bottle so I could smell you forever.

I am so blessed that you chose me to be your mommy.
I promise to teach you everything I know. I will always love you no matter what.
Right now you are my baby, but you will always be my daughter and for that I am ever so thankful to God.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much! Sometimes I just feel like they are growing so fast I just want to remember the "tiny" everyday things!
