What shall we do with that "Too Small Onesie?" Part 2

And now for the rest....

Cut a strip of fabric 3 inches wide and 22 inches long.

Fold in half and cut to make two strips that are 3 x 11 inches.

Put right sides of fabric together and sew the long side. Then turn right side out.

Iron with the seam 1/4 of the way down on one side. (note:if you look closely you can see where my seam is. This will be on the inside of the ruffle.)

Run a basting stitch along the same side of the strip as the seam. Pull one of the threads to create the ruffle.

Pin the ruffle with right sides facing each other onto the sleeve. (Note:the seam of the ruffle should be visible)

Sew the ruffle onto sleeve, iron down and be so proud of yourself!

Now, for the ribbon detail around the neck:

Take some ribbon, cut 2x the length of the front of the onesie and run a basting stitch down the center. Pull ONE of the threads to gather the ribbon.

Pin to the top of the onesie and sew straight down the center!

Find a super cute baby and show off your newly created "Not Too Small Onesie" Dress!

If you make this, please leave a comment with a link to your blog / website! I would love to see it!

Tomorrow, I think I will confess my most guilty pleasure! Stay tuned!
